Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Restaurant OS (the “Service”), available at app.runros.app. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Restaurant OS is restaurant operations software that connects to your existing point-of-sale (POS) system to display sales, inventory, labor, and location insights. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it as needed. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the restaurant whose data you connect.
POS connections
When you connect a POS provider (such as Clover), you authorize Restaurant OS to access the specific, read-only business data described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of each POS provider remains subject to that provider's own terms. You may disconnect a POS connection at any time from the Integrations page.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access data you are not authorized to access, interfering with the Service's operation or security, or using the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.
Your data
You retain ownership of your business data. You grant Restaurant OS the limited rights necessary to store, process, and display that data to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that insights derived from your POS data will be accurate or complete. Restaurant OS is a decision-support tool and is not a substitute for your own business judgment or your POS provider's records.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Restaurant OS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
